CBW-Africa Visits Entrepreneurs in KIRDI Nairobi
Our Vice President Nana Wanjau (A Pan African Leader) had a very insightful venture on the blue economy and its benefits to the growing world.
The blue economy is the sustainable use of ocean resources (fish, crocodiles) for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and jobs while preserving the health of the ocean ecosystem.
The blue economy has great potential to contribute to higher and faster GDP growth in Africa.
The Vice President & Beneddett Omondi our Africa Continental Head of Finance visited an entrepreneur in KIRDI Nairobi, who uses fish skin to produce very beautiful leather products like shoes and handbags.
One of our major projects this year is working with women in the fisheries industry as they engage in a sustainable fashion.
Fish skin is relatively new to the market and produces very elegant fashion designs that are highly marketable to the world of fashion.
